Polk County Bass
And Snook Club

 Catch the Fun!

The Polk County Bass and Snook Club was founded in 1972 by a group of local fishermen and is Polk County's oldest still in existence fishing club.  Our club is about fishing and fun, getting together with fellow anglers for a pleasant day on the water and a bit of friendly competition. The club fishes for fun and bragging rights......not for cash.  When a new member places in his first tournament he is awarded a Tournament Finishes Plaque on which he can add on hangers for future places in tournaments.  At the end of the year the club holds an awards banquet for members and guests.

In 2008 the club will hold eight bass tournaments and four snook/redfish tournaments.  In 2008 the club will hold its one day tournaments on Saturdays as opposed to Sundays in past years.  The top ten anglers in the point standings for 2008 will fish a season ending Classic in November.

The club welcomes new member boaters or non-boaters no matter what the level of expertise.  There is a draw held prior to each tournament that gives the member the opportunity to fish with different anglers.
