 Catch the Fun With An Affordable Fishing Club! 

The Polk County Bass and Snook Club was founded in 1972 by a group of local fishermen and is one of Polk County's oldest still in existence fishing clubs.  Our club is about fishing and fun, getting together with fellow anglers for a pleasant day on the water and a bit of friendly competition. The club fishes for fun and bragging rights......not for cash.  When a new member places in his first tournament he is awarded a Tournament Plaque on which he can add hangers for future places in tournaments.  At the end of the year the club holds an awards banquet for members and guests.

In 2012 the club will hold eight bass tournaments and three snook/redfish tournaments.  The club will hold its one day tournaments on Saturdays again in 2012. In addition there will be a season ending Classic in December.

The club welcomes new member boaters or non-boaters no matter what the level of expertise.  There is a draw held prior to each tournament that gives the member the opportunity to fish with different anglers.

The club is accepting new boater members for the 2012 season.
